Pinger!

Pinger! is a small and easy to use pinging program used to quickly ping a large list of hosts and save the resulting successful and failure host lists into a text file.
When developing scripts and applications that will touch a large number of hosts, if many of those hosts are offline or no longer exist, the timeouts involved with this can slow down execution time and dramatically slow down your script or application.

Pinger! Host script parameters:

hosts – The list of hosts to ping.
-s, –seconds – The timeout period to wait before giving up if the host is not alive.
-r, –repeat — The number of times to ping the hosts in the hosts list.
The most common use for this script is to quickly ping a list of hosts and save the results in a text file, then take those text files and do whatever you need to do with them. This script is good for performing a quick ping on a list of servers and then saving the results as a text file.

This is a minor bug fix release. No new features are added in this release.

1. Fixed bad behavior with -s and -r commands on Windows operating system when value is too large to fit into value of int.
2. Improved way of capturing standard output for non-ASCII characters.

1. Pinger! now supports -s and -r parameters that are NOT required to be whole numbers.
2. Pinger! now allows to set -s and -r values in the same time

Pinger! Serial Key is an easy to use pinging program that saves the results of pinging to a text file for later use. It will automatically ping all hosts listed in a text file or text area to see if it pings successfully.
The program also saves all host results as text files and the host file(s) for the current session and the previous sessions are stored in a subdirectory of the C: drive named “TimeSessions.”
