Adjustments

Photoshop has a massive array of adjustment tools that enable you to tweak the colors, sharpness, exposure, contrast, and other aspects of your images. When you add and subtract an adjustment, you add or subtract light or dark tones and overall brightness or contrast, and generally make small changes throughout an image.

If your goal is to make a stronger contrast or color change, you probably don’t need to use the adjustment layers. In most cases, just make a single adjustment and it will adjust the entire image.

If you’re using a single point, anchor point, or reference, then add a new adjustment layer, and then use that point to adjust all of the image.

As you become more familiar with adjustments, you can use adjustment layers. Figure 6-7 shows a layer with an adjustment applied that is anchored to the center of the image.

Applying Layers

You can add layers to images with Photoshop Elements by using the Layer menu. You can group layers and move or copy them to other positions. You can apply adjustments to individual layers or move layers to adjust images. In practice, you may create a background layer for your image and then create different layers to apply adjustments to.

Here are the steps to add layers to an image:

Select the image you want to add a layer to. The image must be open. Click the Layers tab on the top of the screen. Click the New Layer button. A new layer appears on the canvas. Move the new layer into the position you want it to appear or click and drag it. You can move a layer by clicking anywhere on the new layer and dragging it to a new position on the canvas. In the Layers panel, you can double-click the layer name to select the layer. In the Layers panel, you can click the layer name to select it. I’m sure I’ve seen a conversation system like this before. I can’t remember where or what it’s called, but here’s the idea. It isn’t just an endless list of options, like a menu, but rather a conversation where you can initiate dialogue and direct it based on your responses.
The way I had tried to implement this was to have a person with an answer key that could be compared to whatever was said. For example, a riddle would be “asked/answered by the player” and a simple yes/no answer would be “asked/answered by the Computer”. If both of them provide the same answer, the conversation would end. However, if the computer spoke the answer first, then the player got two turn heads with the option to reject the answer or reword the question to get the same answer (if such an answer exists).
Anyway, I’m trying to find this for my game and I can’t think of a better way to represent this. Thanks.

I’m developing an app and I want to create a UITabBarController with 3 tabs, in one of the tabs I want to create a tableview. So my current design is like this:
