As to the purpose, use, application, utility and operability of the computerized information on the patient, including the name and address of the patient, the place of birth and address of the patient, the date of birth of the patient, and such other matters as the parties may agree to provide the user of the information.

In addition to the standard CIC agreements, there is another CIC agreement available in the server copy called CIC Language Coding Agreement CIC_LANG_CODING. Its purpose is to clarify the law or rule of law applicable to the subsequent year. Therefore, the language of the determination should state the full extent of the law or rule of law applicable to the subsequent year and set forth the unperformed portion of the agreement.

When addressing an ambiguity in an agreement, if the language itself supports two equally reasonable interpretations, then it is ambiguous and should be interpreted in a manner which favors the payee. Only when the language of the document is silent or reasonably susceptible to inconsistent interpretations should the court turn to extrinsic evidence in order to interpret the document. However, if a document is so clear or complete that its terms cannot reasonably be interpreted in more than one way, courts should not resort to other evidence, such as custom and industry practice.
