maximum map size – 2000 x 2000 px – this is the size of your map in map editor pixels. it’s not the number of square kilometers that the map occupies, but the number of pixels that you’ve assigned to map. the maximum size should be set to around 5000 pixels per side. if you set this too high, the game can be prone to crashing. you might need to play around with the map size to find a balance that suits you.

the ‘map speed’ option lets you select the speed that the level loads when you start playing the map. this is useful if you want to play a map as soon as possible, or are having problems with frame rate, and it can also help speed up the display of your map in the level editor.

the ‘map admin’ option lets you decide whether the map editor or the game should be the ‘owner’ of the map when you are in offline mode. this gives you more control over the map, as you can create, delete or rename objects, and change the settings for weapons, objects, spawn points, etc.

in most games the player will be able to choose the resolution, audio format, and resolution of the audio. if you find that you are having problems with one of these settings, changing the settings in the game’s configuration file will make the game playable again. the location of this file varies depending on the game, but it will be in a file called config.cfg or config_mp.cfg in your program files (x86)steamsteamappscommoncall of duty black opsplayers directory.
