Intelligence from London suggest the Blacklist is targeting the U.S. banking system with a new viral attack. After infiltrating a London bank, Sam and his team discover the installation has been made to look like a normal branch but contains a simulated heart attack reaction. The heart rate increases, robotic cover screens appear, and a timed blast virus can be activated. The team blow the doors open and begin spraying the infected. Sam uses the team’s own grenade launcher to stop the virus before it spreads more.
An investigation has lead the CIA to believe the Blacklist attacks are sponsored by a drug cartel. If the players were to infiltrate the cartel HQ the chance of intel is high to learn more about the organization. With Fishers help Sam and his team sneak into the compound and sneak through the high security and heavily guarded entrance. The next step is to find out who is running the cartel. Sam keeps his blood samples to test against their DNA to see if he can uncover their identity. On the way to a meeting place, the team is ambushed by the cartel’s guards. Sam gets tied up while Fisher manages to break away and runs for help. The team escapes to the car just as the cartel bursts in. They are outgunned as the cartel is equipped with new full-auto assault rifles with silencers and razor-sharp steel blades. Briggs and Sam drive away, while Fisher escapes on foot. Under attack by a rocket-propelled grenade, Sam reaches for the remote detonator of his C4 but he is thrown to the ground by a guard. Fortunately they are saved by the cavalry – the DEA. They take the cartel members into custody and drive away.
