– If you get an error with the generation of a haplotype or genotype, do not add the haplotype or genotype to the file that contains the haplotype or genotype. Instead, exit the SNPsim program, and open the command line. Then start SNPsim, and use the following command (all on one line) to add the genotype to your current running simulation: SNPsim.exe -h [file with the file name] -g [file that contains the genotype string]
