Note: Adobe Photoshop Elements 2018 is the version included with Windows, macOS and Apple devices. The version below applies to Windows. How to Customize the UI
The Photoshop UI can look intimidating to new users. It makes sense if you are familiar with other graphics editors or use a mouse to work on computers, but if you use a trackpad and touchpad on a laptop or a stylus and an Apple Pencil on an iPad Pro, you may find it difficult. You can customize the UI to be easier to use.
The first thing you should do is hide the title bar. You can hide the window of Photoshop by clicking on the handle on the left of the title bar and sliding it away (see image below).
After hiding the title bar, you can navigate the window using the two arrow buttons on the left of the window as a mini explorer. You can show the status bar with a single click on the status bar in the bottom-left corner of the window. You can zoom in and out by tapping the scroll area and you can use the Left and Right buttons to scroll the active window.
Option key (Windows) and Control (Mac) on the keyboard can be used to make edits to the image.
Shift + Command (Windows) or Shift (Mac) + Command can be used to resize an image to any size. These keys apply to images, not the interface.
In macOS, you can enable resizing for videos by using the ⌘ + 1, 2, or 3 keys to resize the video, which will also resize the image.
You can change the font in Photoshop Elements by navigating to Edit > Preferences > Font. You can choose from a variety of fonts, including something as cool as Zootopia, or you can use a font from a font pack.

Execute stored procedure with variables
When executing a stored procedure in SQL Server, I know I can pass parameters and variables like so:
EXEC dbo.sp_MyProcedure ‘a’, ‘b’, ‘c’
But I’m wondering if this is the right way of doing it.
The reason I ask is that on later versions of SQL Server (2012), ‘b’ and ‘c’ are essentially constants, so it would be better to pull them from user input variables.
The stored procedure will then look something like this:
CREATE PROCEDURE dbo.sp_MyProcedure
@a INT,
@b INT,
@c INT
Is there any disadvantage to this method?

To clarify – I can see that this would save me on several columns, so performance shouldn’t be a problem.

It’s the same in theory. It’s difficult to imagine a scenario where you could actually be missing out on anything by using literal parameters to the stored procedure.
With your example, you can pass any three variables of the same type into the stored procedure (in this case int). In a stored procedure, if you want to return a datatype you will have to add it in with your SELECT statement for it to be returned (assuming you want that).
