Drusilla Dreams is a sequel to the game “I am Caligula”, and is released through Funimation and produced by swAby Productions.

Plot
The game begins with Drusilla and Lucca’s story, and it continues with Lucca’s story, and ends with Drusilla’s.
Drusilla and Lucca talk about their past before Caligula asks his brother to spare their life. Drusilla and Lucca are saved, while Caligula gets a chance to rule the world.
Drusilla quickly learns more about her new position, and she also learns she is the only member of the Imperial Family. When Drusilla begins to question how she is supposed to run the empire from behind, Caligula and his friends start to plot a coup, and turn the Empire upside down.
What will happen if Drusilla and Lucca do not work together to run the empire? Will the Empire be overthrown in Caligula’s hands?

Characters
Drusilla: An Empress of Rome, who lost everything she cared for to Caligula. She is the only family she has left.
Lucca: Drusilla’s lover, and the only slave she has left.
Caligula: Drusilla’s brother who takes over from his brother who died. He is also shown to be interested in Lucca.
Luca: Lucca’s former master, who is still hated by Drusilla.

Note that the names of the slaves have been changed to protect their identity.

Critical response
Drusilla Dreams has been positively received. Emily Joy of Square Enix Collective gave the game an 8.5/10, comparing it to the original Drusilla. Melissa Lervag of Figure Comics gave the game an 8/10, calling it “A game that is both fun and uplifting while still adding your own path to create your own ending.”

      As Robert Furlong’s “Upstage,” a new movie
      about entertainers of the ’20’s and ’30’s, opened
      at the closing-out Lugano Film Festival this
      week, critics have been asking the same question–how many times have
      we seen this movie? Actually, Furlong, a former “Mickey Mouse Club” star, is narrating the
      first major feature-length version of “Paddy Chayefsky’s Breakfast Club”–perhaps
      the best-written play of all time–which he did as a
      short-lived TV series early in the ’70’s. As it
      turned out, that’s the focus of the movie, which
      (plus a few flashbacks) takes place on and around
      “Breakfast Club” actor Peter Falk’s 35th birthday.
      What makes this movie special is that most everyone else is wearing the same thing Furlong did:
      he talked to this movie’s characters just as if he
      were greeting them as friends at a party–except
      he was on Hollywood movie sets back in the ’30’s,
      chatting with celebrities about politics, parties,
      “breakfast of champions” (now there was an excuse
      for setting up an “unofficial Oscars”), and mutual
      friendships. A major difference from “Foul Play,”
      this movie is not filled with entertainment industry
      secrets and back-room deals, but rather it’s all
      true–all true.
      The verisimilitude isn’t forced; it’s naturalistic,
      which means that the performers sounded as if
      they had the same mindset as Furlong’s narrators,
      Cher, Goldie Hawn, Jean Stapleton, who plays Falk’s
      third wife at the party, David Lloyd in his greatest
      character, and actor Pat Hingle, who plays Halsey.
      The surprise is that Peter Falk plays himself, and
      acts like a retired movie star, ready to reminisce.
      There’s a throwaway reference to “Dolly,” but
      that’s it. It’s really good that Falk acts so deeply
      into the role, because that’s something most movie
      stars can’t pull off. Now don’t misunderstand;
      this movie wouldn’t be as compelling if Falk
      were just reading his lines or sitting around
      the set

      I do agree that the game is a little bit easy and you have a little bit of luck involved but we’re still having fun playing this game.
