Parasites take over planets, and it’s up to you to protect them or to exterminate them. Your ships are the only choice you have to defend your homes from these interstellar predators. They need hosts with the right genetic mix to ensure their survival. Which ones of your races would you choose to give them a home?
Expand and conquer – the parasites have gone too far and now they are looking for new hosts. In just 198 years of evolution they have transformed from parasitic larvae, into the most powerful race in the galaxy. They are looking for a new host, and your opponents are humans. They have selected the most sumptuous specimens from the population, and now they are venturing forth from their adopted home planet and in search of a cognate species which breeds freely and is able to give birth at least once per year, with a good growth rate and preferably (although a bit of crunch is acceptable) without an exoskeleton.
Based on the original PlayStation game. The game is entirely new, but shares no code with the original game. It is the first game from Easycombat Systems and was released on March 24 2012.
Detailed Features
– 10 new ships in 4 Cruisers, 3 Frigates and 3 fighters. 4 Cruiser bonuses, 3 Frigate bonuses and 3 fighter bonuses.
– New ship equipment: The flak cannon is a cruiser weapon designed to target enemy fighter swarms. The cannon ahs an ‘area-of-effect’ damage as well as hitting the target ship. The Plasma slinger is a small but ultra-high-rate-of-fire plasma torpedo weapon. This is the first plasma weapon that can have multiple torpedoes in flight at the same time. The missile revenge scrambler is a whole new type of ECM weapon that actually sends missile back to attack the ship that launched them, rather thamn just scrambling their guidance systems.
– New ship bonuses: The parasites build these ships to last. Most of the new hulls have both integrity and armor bonuses. The parasites aren’t so good on the shields front, but they make up for it with stronger armor.
– 1 New Scenario. One new map for you to fight against the parasites, and to use in online challenges.

The pleasure of interstellar spaceflight has mostly been replaced by the torment of endless back and forth with the pirates and the scammers, and the constant struggle to keep a metal hull from breaking apart. But that’s life. Woe betide the unfortunate species who owns the routes, the spaceports, or the trade goods routes. Humanity has to fight for space or space will fight for humanity.
The guest race, the “Parasites” are a race of space-borne spores, floating around our galaxy waiting for their next “host” to be picked up and brought back to their ancestral homeworld to continue their long tradition as parasites.
The parasitic race is no longer deterred by bright colouring of potential hosts as they know from experience that these are sometimes simple dye additives that some races ingest in a rather feeble attempt to suggest they may be toxic. In the past millennia the parasites have openly advertised their opening for a new host species, however this approach has never proven successful.

The Parasites need a new host species. They travel the galaxy looking for suitable hosts to feed and reproduce with. These hosts will provide the much more vital role of keeping the parasites’ immature larvae alive and prospering. For 198 years they have survived by feeding off a species whose own offspring have provided them with essential easily digested nutrients and regenerative salves. However having selected the most sumptuous specimens from the population, the host species has now been severely weakened and their nutrient content compromised.

One of the defining features of improvisation is that it’s on the fly. It’s very much like sex, in the sense that you just do it when it’s right. You don’t know when, but when it hits, it hits hard and fast, without fail.
It’s the same for creativity: it’s pretty hard to pull off a distinct piece of art without all of the pieces falling into place in a very specific order, and I mean that in a very broad sense. The most effective improvisation comes when a performer is experimenting with his or her own personal concert, ever experimenting with the possibilities in a way that would never occur to another person. It seems completely natural to an improviser, to say, “Just do it,” and to do the do in an almost reflexive way.
Which is why I find it so bizarre when I see other people do things, when it is extremely clear that the things people do are obviously completely unnecessary, and much of the time, counterproductive. It seems like they’re just fiddling for the sake of fiddling, doing things that are best not done, for no good reason.
This doesn’t always mean less good work than someone who is accomplishing his or her goal, but I’ve seen enough work that isn’t quite good enough that I’m really disappointed when I come across things that are just a hail mary, a long shot. I mean, save it for the trashcan? The level of wasting time that is so clear that what we would be witnessing is the degradation of the human race into some sort of post-licking-tube-waving-hippo-monster would be enough to prevent my ever listening to anything by these artists ever again. That’s the type of quick, sodden thing that would just grab ahold of my brain and grind it into one of those packets of powdered coffee drinkers use to swallow their silly, revolutionary thought that can’t possibly be, right?
