please note that the following changes are included in this release:
- ai traffic has been re-scaled to match the updated airports in fsx and fsx sp. the airports are scaled by their altitude, and the airport scale menu has been adjusted accordingly.
- a new menu option has been added that allows you to disable the ability for ai traffic to take off and land. this is useful for those who wish to use flightgear’s ai traffic for their airport. to disable this feature, set the ai traffic take-off and ai traffic landing flight gear options in the airport configuration to 0.
fantasy flight interactive (ffi) has released the 2nd version of the ai traffic pack for fsx p3d v3 v4 and fsx p3d v3 v4 sp. the pack is designed to add ai traffic to the atc and taxi network. this is a standalone add-on that does not need to be installed on top of the main game. ai traffic has been based on the fsx airport scenery usa ai traffic package but has been extended to include additional support for airlines, military and civilian aircraft, and new aircraft types. ai traffic also supports the new gaac apg-65h and rj80/85l aircraft. for more information on ai traffic, please visit the fantasy flight interactive website.
ai traffic is included in this release as an optional add-on. to enable it, set the ai traffic flight gear option in the airport configuration to 1, and either select the name of an airport from the list of airports, or enter the name of a custom airport into the ai traffic airport field in the aircraft screening menu. note that ai traffic flight gear can only be applied to non-scenery airport and airspace objects, and cannot be applied to the current scenery.
