It gives you a view of the entire desktop library and organizes it from the perspective of folders and sub-folders. But it is so hard to get to your images. And there is no easy way to find photos that you once opened from within the desktop. So, for all practical purposes, you are stuck at the beginning of the working process.

Has anyone here either fixed this or knows how to use Lightroom 4 and Nikon RAW files? (of course I checked the forums, but no solution found).

This is a good product. It meets all my photoshop needs. It’s usability is easy to use. I was somewhat disappointed when I read that if you upgrade (to cs6) then your original version will be junked, after converting all your old images. I thought this was a feature, but it was not. I hope they fix this. I think it’s a very good product.

This is probably the best software I’ve used in awhile now. It is very easy to use, and although I’ve been using Photoshop for a few years now, I can see all the new features in this release and develop some new techniques!

I have had photoshop since version 1.0.2 and I had always been a very satisfied user since. This new version has to be the best I ever used! I love the new ease of handling and the whole paint view never looked so great! One negative thing I have to say is that when using layers, the background becomes light transparent, and you cannot see the content behind it; I would have much preferred it be dark transparent and a light gray instead of a light transparent. But this is a minor complaint. Overall it’s a solid release from Adobe!

In this case, you are still on the same image, but the new layer contains your new image.

This is very much Adobe’s core audience, but those who know the degree to which Photoshop can really distort, distort, distort creations of any kind are going to find that their patience has worn thin.

Here, I am showing a centered, demoted, Reset Photos function in Lightroom on my iPhone.
