BX_SOLO V1.1 is a combination audio-file and.exe file. It contains two programs -a DAW automation controller and a standalone mixer. The file is a combination of a.exe and an.idx file, which allows you to control the sound card via automation.
To use the automation controller in a DAW program, you must first save it as a.idx file using a compatible software and then load it into a different program. When BX_SOLO loads into an existing VST or AU host, it acts as a VST or AU plug-in and will take control of your automation host’s parameters. This allows you to control virtually any program’s sound card with this tool.
Once you open this file in a separate program, you will need to right-click the standalone mixer and select Load Plugin to load this file into the host, so it can control your host’s audio I/O.
If you want to control the mixer in BX_SOLO, you can select Master, Balance or some FX returns, such as Amp, EQ or Reverb. You can also select a stereo group or keyboard track, or select any other stereo track and individually select each input to control the amount of input and master volume./*
