When your Toshiba notebook tells you to perform a search for updates, don’tjust click OK and then expect an updated driver to install.
Only select the optional update driver if your notebook wants you to, and provide the correct manufacturer driver download (e.g. Toshiba) and if it supports the platform (e.g. Windows XP). Clicking OK will start the driver download process. If there are several updates, you are prompted to install the driver(s) before the update process can continue. Dont use the standard 1.x to 6.x Viewpoint Monitor version-numbers, use only those which are listed under ‘Modiert (S/N)’ in your Viewpoint Monitor’s Viewpoint-Monitor-Settings (like in Figure 1a ). I found a small article about the b.book 13 saying that there is no AMD-GPUs and that the integrated Intel-GPU is used instead. Because there are Linux drivers provided on the intel.com site of Intel, I assume that we could install the AMD graphics driver. But I do not really want to install this unsupported driver on my laptop. Am I right? Could you support me with the solution? I would really appreciate it.
