How to restrict Autodesk applications

Prior to version 2017, the default profile for Autodesk applications was set to allow only Admin users to log in. This default setting was intended to allow Autodesk application users to find and save their files in an efficient manner. For example, the default environment limits the number of users that can be logged in at once, and it limits the number of applications (sessions) that can be open at once. Additionally, the default profile allows users to log out of their applications automatically at the end of their work session. The administrator’s default account has been configured to have elevated privileges in order to administer the Autodesk network and to maintain a complete backup of the Autodesk application instances on the Autodesk account.

In addition to the default settings for Admin users, we have also added the ability for individual users to control their Autodesk profile settings.
