For the most part, it has become obsolete, with even the vintage-style synths being supplanted by their digital counterparts. Adventus is a fully analog instrument that plugs directly into the computer’s MIDI port. It is a faithful recreation of the classic Moog Model 15. It has six oscillators, each with the “fat” option. Six different waveforms (sine, saw, triangle, pulse, ramp, and white noise) are available. Adventus also features a rich array of modulation, with six modulators, each with controls for key-tracking, pitch, filter, amp, envelope, and MIDI CC. There are four resonant-filter types: band pass, band reject, low pass, and high pass. Each filter has an ADSR envelope. The different filter types allow for a wide variety of sound. The resonant-filter types are accessible by two assignements, each with two destinations, meaning that the sound can be routed to more than one destination at a time. There is also a phase-modulation section. The LFOs have a wide range of control options and can be used for changing pitch, filtering, and filter shape. The arpeggiator is a simple monophonic instrument with a 1 octave range. It can be used in any way you desire, whether to play chords, play arpeggios, play melodies, or play random patterns. There is also a portamento function, which gives the player access to a wide range of portamento options. The chorus, twin delay, reverb, and distortion effects are all separate effects and are controlled with MIDI CC. The chorus effect can be used as an insert effect with the pedal, and its send, for example, can be assigned to the LFO. The delay effect can be set to sustain. Both effects can be used as inserts with the pedal. The reverb effect can be set to long, medium, or short depending on the sound. Adventus is a multi-oscillator instrument with ADSR envelope for each oscillator, pitch, pan, volume and modulation.
Adventus has 6 different waveforms: sine, saw, triangle, pulse, ramp and white noise. This instrument was created with a great attention to detail and you will find the most useful features in the multi-oscillator instrument.
As you can see, this multi-oscillator can contain up to 6 oscillators and each oscillator can have as much as 6 ADSR envelopes, pitch, pan, volume and modulation.

The tone is very good, I love it. However, there are some issues with the signal generator oscillator. The oscillators tend to stop when the pitch is really low, but the tone is not affected at all.

I’ve tried to connect to a grand piano (M3) for soft accompaniment but the sound is really horrible, the bass sounds like a scratch and the treble sounds like a flute (or violin).

The patch I created for the grand piano sounds good but it’s not as responsive as the strings of Adventus.

There are some weird sounds, especially when you use the panning function. In particular the panning algorithm seems to be applied to the whole instrument, not the part where the sound is played. I did not find a way to apply the panning function only to the strings, for instance.

Do you think this instrument would be suitable for creating realistic instruments, such as strings, basses and pianos?

It seems to be a known problem. Also in the forum where I found a few people saying the same.
I was not able to find a patch for piano, but there is a patch for strings.
I hope the developers will fix this soon.
