alas, i know its an episode of stupid techy questions, but it’s been bugging the heck out of me, and, i’ve heard of an incident a while back, where a user got infected, the patch didn’t work, and the original game couldnt be found, and, he was forced to get “Halo 4”, and, that was a joke. I’m sorry
I’ve been trying to remove it from all the computers I’ve tried it on but it’s not detecing it for some reason. I installed the virus on my Windows 8.1 machine running antivirus software and the only thing it shows up as is the system malware but it doesn’t detect the virus.
Hi I have a Virus Named A.UWASON.A!. I cant get rid of it and this is what im getting when i try to install a normal game with eCX, I get a WARNING SUIT it says Setup.exe has been replaced by (SETUP.exe.embedded).config HijackThis will now delete the following entries: (SETUP.exe.embedded).config
If you would like to remove them, make sure you uncheck (not ticked) any anti-virus protection for “Repack-Games.com All In One Run Time Software Setup.exe” or to “Repack-Games.com All In One Run Time Software Run-Time.exe” and run a scan. If you get no results, restart your computer and try the same thing again. It could be that the installer for the game has been created by a potentially unwanted adware. If this is the case, please try to re-download the game from a trusted site. Otherwise, remove any updates you may have that download and update over-the-air and get the game from a trusted source.
This is both the main executable and the run time.exe. The file is less than 50 Mb. I got the exact links from the download site and downloaded and tested them immediately. The My Directx 9.0c is already installed. So, all I did was just run the executable and it solved the problem.
No it was not the same for me. Atleast I did not encounter any other viruses besides being infected with the virus Youjizz.ws and one of the two viruses. One was detected as PWS.dll (This is odd because this is not malware, but something i had to have installed on my computer on some blue screen program that i had, and i deinstalled it, the other virus was detected as Uwasson.A!m). The update file was an exact copy of the all in one run time file.
Ok I did know that I downloaded an archive of the game (since it said that some of the files were corrupted), however I had no idea that it contained a virus. If the game was an updating one then how could it contain such a virus? Because I did not know anything of the game (as I was just downloading the game) I thought that it was just an archiver, something that you download and then extract so you can play the game. I thought that the game itself was legitimate. I did not know that it was corrupted and also that the archiver itself was corrupted. I was also looking into something that I had previously downloaded. I uninstalled the program through the control panel and still the virus was in my system?

I have never used that blue screen program. I’m afraid that i never had that program installed on my computer since i never clicked on any suspicious links or downloaded anything that would be suspicious. If I had though I would not have downloaded it in the first place, I would have instead downloaded legit programs like an e-reader, Amazon and some other things that I had to have installed. I have uninstalled the blue screen program also (via the control panel and I don’t see it in my program list anymore). The all in one is the big file that has all the files on it (which is corrupted or has files corrupted). I did get the message that said that the game was corrupted (that icon at the start of the game). I removed the all in one but one of the files inside it had more than one virus.
