MMTOOL 3.26.zip
In the MMTool folder there are three files which are ZIP extensions.
The first is a ZIP file of CodeRushs UEFI firmware extractor, the second is a ZIP file of the firmware for the bios itself, and the third is a ZIP file of the BIOS to be modified.
So download this ZIP, extract the first, run it and extract the others.
hi guys, its me again. today i want to edit the latest bios 1.50 for my asrock n68c-gs4 fx ( ). mc extractor tells me that there are eleven microcodes in this bios:
but mmtool 3.26 only detects six of them:
so how can i update these microcodes
mmtool has been completely rewritten from scratch. we have made a lot of improvements that make the program much more powerful, easy to use and intuitive. we are happy to see that you like this program and would like to give you a chance to try it.
let’s assume that the first module (e2) is the original bios of your motherboard, the second module (e1) has been replaced with a new bios. if the bios was overwritten, then you do not need to use the unprotect function in mmtool. so the question is: how to restore the original bios in the e2 module?
your second solution is very simple – just use the tools option in mmtool to extract the bios from the e2 module to the first module (e1). then, you can use unprotect to remove the bios from e2 and replace it with the bios from e1. next, you can easily replace this bios with the latest bios from the manufacturer’s website. mmtool will be greatly improved.
I have had this problem after I restored my Dell A7 system by using only the TMP method. I tried running AMIBCP v4.53 and I was unable to extract the contents of my bios file. I am wondering if there are any solutions available. I have tried loading the bios file with the universal bios backup software and with PCFLASHBIOS 9 as well. This is the error I got: Error loading firmware imagewith MM-Tool v3.26 & Aptio UEFI MMTool v4.50.0.23.. Error loading BIOS image (x9600.sys) with MM-Tool v3.26 and Aptio UEFI MMTool v4.23 UEFI BIOS. Hi andres, Thanks for your help, no luck I’m afraid. I have attempted various tricks like using SMART backup versions, and changing my BIOS options as you suggested, but they have all failed to extract the contents of the BIOS file. When I try to open the file with Universal Bios Backup Software, I get this error: Error loading firmware image with MM-Tool v3.26 & Aptio UEFI MMTool v4.50.0.23 UEFI BIOS.. So I’ve been unable to see what the error is, or how to fix it. I’ve been over the forums, and on the Dell Technical help site with no luck, and the only reference to it is: “Error loading firmware image (x9600.sys) with MM-Tool v3.26 and Aptio UEFI MMTool v4. Press Ctrl+C to terminate”Does this shed any light on the problem, or could you give me any other suggestions?.
