hi, i am trying to install a new copy of win 7, but i am having issues with the dvd drive. i burn my discs at 2x, but it still isn’t working. i used other dvds and it worked fine, but it won’t work with this one. when i click to start it, it says “executing a system file check” and eventually it just says “operation not permitted”. i tried using a different dvd drive, but the problem persists. any idea why it won’t work?
i finished downloading windows 7 pro 64 x86. is the language difference the same in home and pro? or do they have more languages in pro than in home? i really dont care which language i am installing, but if i just download the proper one (of hteese two) and burn the iso on a dvd, will it work for me or will it still need the original copy i made? i could just try it on a vm machine but its not really efficient for me, as its pretty slow. im sure i could dl an image with virtualbox, but i figured if i dont need to dl another image, then i might as well burn it to a dvd. any ideas? i really would like to find out whether or not i need the original or not, i have it on dvd. i saw a tutorial where some guy burned it on a usb drive and it worked perfectly. but it just seems so easy to make a mistake. i wish i could dl it again, but im down to my last dvd
downloaded windows 7 professional x86 from microsoft as i could only get the spanish and french from my link but as anyone who knows french can translate for me you will notice if this is the right download, as i could not find many in french and spanish as well, only english. when i burn the iso to my dvd and try the installation on my laptop with the hard disk drive out which was in the laptop i had before the install problem arrived its says its missing a dvd 1 try and no matter how many i try it will not install, i even tried a different computer and it got to the point where it says please insert the install media when i have already inserted the dvd 1 time before it would even load the windows 7 screen (the gray one that says hit windows key + e to enter the setup program.) and then it shows a full screen with an hdd icon on it and the cd icon and then it says windows wasnt installed correctly so i try and click ok, it get to the part where i select langauge and all i see is an empty blue screen with the start disk button on it. i reinserted the original install disk, tried another drive, tried a different computer that has windows 7 ultimate x64 and all it did was make the windows 7 setup appear and then go to a black screen with the dvd 1 icon and nothing else, nothing at all, just a bunch of blank gray so i just gave up on that. so i am guessing i need the original install cd for my laptop cause if my dvd has problems with it then it will throw a fit on any computer that uses the dvd as installation media? any ideas? thanks
in terms of ps wattage. i know that if its rated in wattage it is probably able to put out more than the max wattage of my motherboard. however, i am not sure if the wattage listed at the manufacture site is actual wattage. i have seen people with ps’s that say its on max but when they turn it on the wattage listed at the manufacture site is only around 50% of what is listed as max.
no ms office for the home user as i need it for school. so was looking at office 2007 pro for home use. don’t like it, speed and cost. so was looking at home users then at home version as i cannot afford another office version
you guys realize it’s been over two years? the very few torrents i’m seeing of win7 sp1 are from 2010 (or 09) and the techsupport people are sticking their fingers up at me and saying that’s not a supported version.

i looked on this page for the x64 versions and got to page 9 of 9 and then all of a sudden the aol page comes up but the torrent isnt there, when i try to view the torrent in safari the page dont load at all, but when i try it from my pc with it closed, its the same, it doesnt load the page, i dont know what to do, can you please help me thanks
