there’s so much to love about this game, but we’ll start with the basics – it looks great. every single new level is a joy to behold, and the design of the enemies and level layouts make them feel like they belong to a larger game.
barleycorn heroes is a fun turn-based strategy adventure game with a good twist of retro flavor. the game is about 12 units across with over 200 tiny units to control. it is a side-scrolling game, and you get to control one of four heroes from four time periods.
when the arcade version of wwf no mercy came out, i went online and played against the arcade version of sting, who was better than me every single time.. i just couldn’t beat him. even now, his cheating is so fast, it’s kinda still impossible to beat him. the genesis version of no mercy brought a few things to the table that would seem to make sting’s position as wrestling’s greatest opponent less certain.

who knew stealing a combine harvester could make you the richest person in the world? well, here’s proof of that. the game combines the adventure of a zelda-style scroll game, with the simple action of a tank shooter, where the goal is to steal the valuable wheat to escape capture. the only way you could possibly make more money would be if you re-sold it on the black market.
having a close relationship with its sega genesis and sega cd games, virtua cop 2 looks almost perfect in its enhanced remaster on the sega ages line. the action is frenetic and fast-paced, the graphics very bright and colorful, and the graphics are crisp and sharp. the story is still a bit cheesy, but hey, this is sega’s version, so it does fit that.
