the fallen has a soundtrack, but the main soundtrack is my immortal, and at over 17 hours, it’s a pretty hefty chunk of the film. this is the official soundtrack, and it does not have any of the songs that are played in the film, but does have some of the songs that are played in the tv spots. some of the songs that are included are the chainsmokers & daya & flo rida & kiiara’s “humble.”
i had a hard time getting past the first scene, as it seemed rather excessive to use such heavy subject matter with a dance number. but once they do settle in, it begins to shine. you can listen to the two songs here if you’d like. the mashup is only available for a short while, but you can download the two songs before it expires.
the only thing that stops a bad day is a good song, right? amy lee is a singer who has made a name for herself as a pop singer with an alternative rock vibe. she has a new album out called ‘my immortal’ and it is a really pretty good listen. but even better, she put out a cool new video for the song ‘red rose’ and it is perfect for valentine’s day!

the immortal mayor is fairly unique in terms of the type of game it is. it lacks the base building gameplay of most management games, but it does have a wealth of features. first, you’ll need to manage your city’s economy, and that’s done by building guilds and tracking your profits. there are four types of guilds, and you’ll need to research a new one for each city. the first guild you pick up will give you a small starting income, which you’ll need to upgrade your city with new buildings. your income will go up in the cities as your city grows, but the city itself will also grow in size as your population increases. if your population starts to decrease, the number of buildings you can afford will decrease, so it’s important to keep your numbers up.
with the city’s upgrades finished, you can place its residents in guilds to help raise their happiness and increase their income. this is a unique approach to city building, but it’s a lot of fun. even if you don’t want to read any of the lore, immortal life has enough meat to keep you going for a while. the lore is just a bonus.
