Im tring to install drivers for RTL2832U on a Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I tried to follow the installation guide and when I plug in the USB, it shows up properly in Zadig as WinUSB (v 6.1.7600.16385) and when I select install driver, nothing happens. I would appreciate any help to fix this problem!
Tried to follow these instructions on Windows 7 x64, but when plugging in the device with Zadig it gives the following message: “Could not allocate resource”. If I try to run the installer from the folder the above message appears and the device is not recognized. I’ve also tried downloading and installing from a USB stick, but there is no driver listed in the Zadig only as Active. I downloaded and extracted the driver manually, but nothing in the OS, the Zadig, or the extracted folder indicates that it is installed. I found out that the file WinUSB (v6.1.7600.16385) is the version used by Zadig since version 3. I can’t find any other versions of WinUSB? 🙁
Hello, I was able to install the drivers using the above website but the problem is that when I plug in the device and try to use the software, an error appears at launch saying that the device could not be opened (it is listed in zadig). Is there an easy way to add the correct driver to the current version of zadig? Thank you, stavo
Hello and thank you for your answer. Before doing it the first time, I tried it with a third party software, called Zed’s Deezer, on a TV cable box. It worked perfectly. And I noticed that the version of the driver was the same, so I shouldn’t have any problems on PC. Now the problem is that there are few apps that have the same format (ex: Real Alternative), with which I’m trying to work. I noticed that the two sticks that I have aren’t compatible with this software. I tried downloading the driver with winusb, but with the same result (it doesnt work). So, I tried to use the driver software on zadig but the problem is the same, with the same format and name of the two sticks, with the same result. And at the end it asks to install the software to install the driver, and it fails. Is there an easy way to solve the problem? This is a.zip file, and it has a preview with the 2 sticks I have. Could I try to install it on some software like WinUSB? And also, could I try to install it on Zadig? Thank you for your help and sorry for my English.
