This study applied a qualitative research design and the case study method with eight interviews to investigate the relationship between related party transaction and turnover intention of a subsidiary. This study used a conventional content analysis method to analyze the data. The results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between related party transaction and turnover intention of a subsidiary (t (7) = 2.56, p < 0.05).

The study examines the status of research funding, such as the distribution of certain types of funding, the extent and trends in funding, and the funding available for certain specific fields of research. It also seeks to determine the factors that may affect the production of research in Malaysia. The funding types that are studied are government, corporation, contract, other, individual, and other.

In the past decade, researchers have been actively debating about the relationship between geographic proximity and outcome. Increasingly, attention has been given to the areas of research that examine the boundary conditions for distance relationships. This study focuses on the effects of distance in the context of licensure of physical therapists on the quality of healthcare. For instance, distance to the nearest physical therapy school is used as a proxy for geographic distance.

This study aimed to determine whether university competitiveness in per capita grant was correlated to employment conditions, faculty salary, and student experience. Data collection involved the submission of a survey to different staff members who worked in the faculty of economics and business. This survey was administered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during the last semester of the academic year 2013/2014.

In the previous edition, there was no chapter in the revised version on statistics and research design. The revised version includes new theoretical and methodological perspectives such as the aim of statistical practice and the main concepts of experimentation. Data was considered as qualitative rather than quantitative as it is usually considered to be in the original.
Being a research practitioner with a background in teaching mathematics, I will take the opportunity to delve into the theoretical and methodological changes of the Fifth edition. The following outline will focus on the changes at the chapter level.
