The Talos Principle is a first-person puzzle game in the tradition of philosophical science fiction. Made by Croteam, the creators of Serious Sam, and written by Tom Jubert (FTL, The Swapper) and Jonas Kyratzes (The Sea Will Claim Everything).
As if awakening from a deep sleep, you find yourself in a strange, contradictory world of ancient ruins and advanced technology. Tasked by your creator with solving a series of increasingly complex puzzles, you must decide whether to have faith, or to ask the difficult questions: Who are you? What is your purpose And what are you going to do about it?

The Talos Principle is set in a time where civilizations have arisen but are now teetering on the brink of destruction. The world is split between those who seek knowledge in the Artificial Mind, and those who worship the Undead.
Here the player is called upon to play the role of a Reverend Father Thomas Schliemann, sent in search of a new church to build on the site of an ancient temple, within which he might find the answers to humanity’s problems.
Deep in the ruins the player finds a series of puzzles, helping to uncover the secrets of what happened to humanity, what happened to the world, and what role the player himself plays in all of this.
The tools at the player’s disposal are a sword, a rope, a crossbow, and an Explosive Fluid. The player also encounters an array of Intelligent Drones, which will often take the form of helpful guides or lethal enemies. As the player explores, the AI drones will reveal to him the various puzzles, hint him with clues, protect him from dangers, and even attack the player if they sense that they have become too dangerous.
You must master and exploit the fluid mechanics of the early game to survive and find the key to unlock the hidden paths to the game’s deeper levels.

    What’s new:

      – God Art | Development | Community

      Right now, I’m working on a project called Sigils of Elohim. You may have heard about it from the fact that I made a public announcement about it on December 16, 2017. The delay with the project was because I was trying out different things, with different ideas. I even considered offering the project under a different name. But I decided to stay true to the project, and choose a name that better represented the concept of the game.

      The Sigils of Elohim project is still far from completion, but the development is moving forward. We have invested a lot of time into the game, including overtime hours. Many of those hours were spent making sure that the end-result will fulfill expectations, meet deadlines, and will be enjoyable. We’re investing a lot of time into it.

      We still have a lot more work to do. This is understandable because the team is a small team, with only three of us. However, what is frustrating, is that we still have a lot of features that we have still to deliver before the game is released. These features include:

      Creating storyline/content for our story, and dialog tree, that is added to every “location” (a.k.a. map)

      Adding/fixing resolution system issues, so that resolution will be changed on the fly

      Gameplay programming that uses 3rd party assets to add RPG elements to the gameplay

      Content for NPC companions

      Addressing bugs and issues

      Content for the main character, it is their storyline

      I’m reviewing and fixing issues that arise with each (unexpected) change, and address them as soon as possible.

      It’s very hard to predict how long we will be able to complete each part of the project (story/dialog tree, resolution system, gameplay, etc.), so we’ll just have to take each of them as they become available, each time making sure that the project is reaching its main goal. If anything, we will let you know when the project is completed.

      I know that not everyone is looking forward to a game that is not complete, but I believe you will be happy with its quality.

      I am currently in the process of gathering assets for the project, to be used either with or without as-is modding. However, we have very high expectations regarding the asset quality, because there
