In a nutshell, when I’m on a specific URL, and I change the URL in my browser to a different one (to another page on the same site), I’d like it to send me back to the same page on my site, but with the correct URL. This is in order to track users who are on my site but on a different URL.

For example, when I go to mysite.com/users/profile and then change the URL in my browser to mysite.com/users/profile/8, I’d like it to change the URL and the page I’m on so that I’m back on mysite.com/users/profile, but with the correct URL.
