AGS Game Studios is a small company based in Florida with a group of enthusiastic professionals trying to get into the game industry.

AGS Gaming’s goal is to create games with a high level of quality and excellent story telling using AGS’ proprietary game engine, AGS Game Studios®. A game written in AGS Game Studios® can be played on any of the PC’s currently on the market, as well as the future release of Nintendo’s Wii U and Xbox One. AGS Games Studios® is a text-based game engine. What this means is that rather than write code to do what it needs to do, it writes text to represent the actions it needs to be done.

AGS Game Studios® also has a really cool in-game editor that allows the player to get creative, create new rooms, and even create their own animation sequences for their characters. This editor is completely free to use and freely available to the public, and because it’s based on open source software, anyone is free to download and play with it.

AGS Game Studios® development goal is to create games that not only have a great story, but are simply fun to play. These games will always have an AGS logo on the bottom-right corner of the screen, and you can always see where the author is from by checking the filename of the.txt file they used to write the game.
