I really liked God Will Be Watching because it has a heart that beats. You are not the one hero, you’re just a character in the world trying to find out what’s going on and try to change it. I just finished the game and didn’t feel manipulated in the least. It’s not a game that is trying to trick you, but a game that you will want to try.

People, don’t let this game’s box fool you. If you thought Lunar1’s storytelling was “moving,” or Amnesia: The Dark Descent’s graphics were “striking,” God Will Be Watching will take them to new, dark, and strategic places. It does so with a much smarter, bolder, and moodier storytelling, which is wholly original and feels (and feels very) like a fever dream about an unnerving urban reality.

God Will Be Watching is an adventure game that challenges you to read and not look at the clues. You don’t look at the diary or the photo, you just read it and you don’t try to figure out what’s going on. You are on a journey to find out the truth and you’re on your own.

The different things you go to do are puzzles. Puzzles are the game’s design feature and it lets you experience things in an adventure game style. The puzzles are not easy but very clever and interesting. If you like puzzles and adventure games you will enjoy this.
