The Tarnished of the Elder Lands is a realm in the Lands Between. It’s a mysterious realm where creatures and monsters of all ages and sizes are numerous, and mighty, Elden Lords rise. The Elden Lords in the Tarnished, if you can understand the curiosity of fate, live alongside those monsters, fight against them, or ally yourself with them. Only they know what the reason for their existence in the Elden Ring is.

The Tarnished is not an easily accessible realm for adventurers. Most of the inhabitants are ageless monsters or armored warriors. A few powerful humans live here who have crossed beyond the bonds of the Elder Ring and are called “Elden Lords.” Those who seek power of greater than their own are advised to remain outside the borders of the Tarnished.

As always, the Tarnished is a complex world for adventurers to explore. Dungeon navigation is challenging, and you will have to deal with the various situations that are presented to you. If you move outside of the realm, you will find an array of adventure that will teach you many things about yourself and the Lands Between.
