This game is using a simple paradigm from the genre known as “Action RPG”. A LOT of heroes are the key to this particular game, so please consider that this game is not for the casual player. This game will require a lot of time and effort to understand. You are not going to play this game and say “Oh it’s easy, I see what they did there, I didn’t notice that X yet” – no, that is not going to happen. I feel like I have to stress this because the game is full of in-jokes, some of which will be very obvious to you, some of which are obvious to those who want to put the time into it. So there will be lots of time spent by a player jumping in at the deep end and not understanding what’s going on and just trying to survive (hence the term “dying lots”). You are not going to run and get some items and then join the fray, you’re going to join the fray and you’re going to do that as a character that you have come to understand. As you understand the world, the game continues to grow by adding new content, etc. There is a lot of stuff to do and to learn that will require a LOT of effort and time for you to understand. But the game itself will reward you SO MUCH for your efforts as it is also a game that will have tons of love poured into it, so don’t expect this game to be the same game 3 months from now (4 years from now).

Torment: Tides of Numenera is a PC game that was developed by Inxit Games and published by Painkiller developer, Big Picture Games.
I received the game at early access, and it hit the market on July 17, 2018. It was free to try it, if you want to know.
I love the Numenera universe and the board game that was released, so I decided to give this game a try.
Torment offers us a dark future where we can make our living; without food, fire and cold.
We can fight the monsters that living in the depths; the gas giants, the huge plants and the enigmatic creatures.
The game is a survival RPG where we make our living from the areas that are around us; making tools, crafting weapons, fighting enemies and so on.
But this is only a small part of the game.
The actual main story consists of monsters that we can encounter, all of them have their own story, battles, items and other weapons. The item crafting is intense, but you can craft all that you find.
The artworks for the game are really good and I really like that the mechanics are very detailed and immersive.
The world seems to be a living world, with its own opportunities and challenges.
It all comes together in a very fun and entertaining RPG that I recommend trying.
