The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd is the third installment of the Trails series and tells the story of an impoverished commoner who longs for adventure. Unable to make his dreams come true, he wishes that he could travel to the immortal city of Palandria with its beautiful landscape where lovely maidens guide adventure seekers. After he steps foot on Palandria, he runs into a man who falls into a lake, and is rescued by a strong and masculine woman. This leaves the puzzled adventurer intrigued and his journey to the wonderful city of Palandria begins.The Best of 1975

Find and replace between files (or different directories)

I’m working on a feature that will allow me to find and replace between two directories or files. I’m having a bit of trouble coming up with a python script that can do that. I have the following use cases:

find and replace file1.txt between files in directory1
find and replace file2.txt between files in directory2
find and replace file1.txt between files in directory1, and directory2
find and replace file2.txt between directories in directory1, and directory2

I can get part of it to work, and I’ve tried using os.walk, os.path, os.listdir, glob, and isfile, but I haven’t been able to come up with a working script yet.
For the first case, I just want to replace file1.txt with file1b.txt in file1
